Tayammum We can perform our Salah with Tayamum when 1. Water is not available at all 2. The water available is insufficient 3. Use of water is harmful e.g in sickness For Tayammum we are required to : 1. Make Niyyah by saying Bismillah 2. Place both our hands lightly on earth, sand, stone or any other object having dust on it. 3. Blow the dust off our hands and wipe our face with the hands once the same way as we do in Wuda 4. Repeat 2 and wipe the right arm from wrist to elbow with the left hand and the left arm with the right hand.

Wudu The four compulsory actions in Wudu are : 1. Wash our face 2. Wash our arms from the hands up to the elbow 3. Wipe our head with wet fingers 4. Wash our feet up to ankles. The steps to take are: 1. Make Niyyah saying Bismillah 2. Then wash both hands upto to the wrists three times making sure that water has reached between. Fingers 3. Ghusl There are certain circumstances when we must have Ghusl before saying Salah, under these circumstances Wudu alone is not enough. These circumstances are: 1. After sexual intercourse between husband and wife. 2. After ejaculation of semen , for example "wet dreams" 3. For women, after menustration and up to 40 days after childbirth. Ghusl means washing the whole body. The three compulsory Fard aspects of Ghusl are: 1. Rinsing the mouth thoroughly 2. Rinsing the nose up to the nasal bone 3.
